Guardian Caps 2023 Year In Review

2023 brought on a lot of innovation and excitement for Guardian Caps. Here is a quick wrap-up of the highlights from the last year!

NFL MANDATE

Changes include use in all preseason, regular season and post-season contact practices instead of just preseason. Players at position groups that experience repetitive hits will be required to wear Guardian Caps. The 2023 mandate added running backs and fullbacks to the previously included all linemen and linebackers. Check out a few highlights from the 2023 NFL season.

CFL MANDATE

The CFL mandate will require all offensive linemen, defensive linemen, running backs and linebackers will wear Guardian Caps during the CFL training camps, as well as all contact practices during the regular season.

SCOTT ZOLAK FM 98.5

Sports Broadcaster and 9-year NFL Veteran Scott Zolak of Boston’s radio home to the New England Patriots spoke on the benefits of the Guardian Cap.

ULTIMATE GA FOOTBALL

Guardian Caps partnered with Ultimate Georgia Football to help better protect athletes and get them to the next level. John Brenkus, Champ Bailey, Alex Benson, and Gary Downs spoke about the science behind the Guardian Caps.

HUSTLE UP 7 ON 7

We collaborated with Hustle Up 7on7 to better protect athletes and help aid their advancement to the higher levels. The 7 on 7 Regional Tournament is a one-day event at the Hoover Met Complex where the best high school teams in Alabama compete for the Hustle Up title. Check out a few highlights from the event!

NFL TRAINING CAMP

Training Camp is when players and coaches come together to fine-tune strategies, harness raw talent, and lay the foundation for a successful season ahead. We are excited that Guardian Caps were worn at all training camps this season to help better protect players.

HIGH SCHOOLS WEARING CAPS

There are 3000+ high school football teams in the United States are wearing caps, including several of the top 10 teams. Park High School in Minnesota has also decided to take their players safety to the next level by utilizing Guardian Caps in both practices and games.

ACADEMY X GUARDIAN CAPS

Academy Sports + Outdoors and Guardian Caps partnered to surprise 25 youth athletes of Kyle Youth Football with Guardian Caps. The 11-12-year old athletes received a Guardian Cap ahead of football season. The donation came in advance of Academy Sports + Outdoors’ new Kyle store which is now open.

NCAA COACHES FEEDBACK

Guardian Caps have become a staple in college football practices throughout the country. These head coaches discuss using Guardian Caps for player safety.

HOCKEY CAPS
