Since creating “The Pearl” back in 2016, Guardian Sports continued to innovate and expand our product lines within lacrosse creating a company solely dedicated to lacrosse, PEARL.

We know buying lacrosse balls can be more confusing than it should be, so we wanted to simplify it for you. In terms of product offerings, PEARL now has three different balls: PEARL X, PEARL LT, and PEARL NX (No Bounce).

Above is a simple breakdown of the differences between our two official game balls, PEARL X and PEARL LT.

It should be noted that PEARL NX is our only lacrosse ball not certified for official gameplay since it does not meet the SEI requirements for bounce which we are actually pretty proud of. Same ball as PEARL X just without the bounce.  Check it out below:

  • Available in White, Yellow & Orange

PEARL LT:
  • Textured Surface
  • SEI Certified to Meet NOCSAE/NFHS/NCAA Standard
  • Available in White & Yellow
  • Used by Colleges, High Schools & Youth Leagues
  • Longer Lasting Grip
PEARL NX:
  • Practice ball – not certified for official gameplay
  • Same as the PEARL X but limited rebound/bounce
  • Made in the USA
  • Available in Blue
  • Used by Colleges, High Schools & Youth Leagues
  • Longer Lasting Grip
