Check out some of the common questions we get from customers about Pearl NX No-Bounce lacrosse balls.
Our Pearl NX no-bounce lacrosse balls are a Carolina blue so they aren’t confused with white and yellow game balls.
Guardian ships same day for order received before 2pm EST Monday – Thursday. If you order on Friday, your order will ship the following Monday. We ship via FedEx Ground or 2Day, which can take 3-4 business days or 2 business days respectively to arrive.
The Guardian team wanted to create a training ball that doesn’t affect muscle memory and allows you to practice like you play. Pearl NX balls are the same size, weight, and softness as Pearl X and LT official game balls, so players no longer have to practice with a ball that’s heavier, smaller, or harder.
Pearl NX balls uses an even more intricate chemistry than the Pearl X ball. This costs us a little more so we had to mark the price up but wanted to keep it lower than traditional training balls.
No. The Pearl NX balls are not SEI certified and are not allowed for game play. You will not see the NOCSAE®SEI certification stamp on these balls.
Pearl X and NX balls are manufactured in the United States. More specifically Pearl NX is manufactured in Rhode Island, but our raw materials used during the manufacturing process are made in Georgia.
We have a grease-free guarantee. If the product is broken or not suitable for play due to a manufacturing defect, within 30 days of being ordered, it may be eligible for replacement. In all cases, replacements are handled with Guardian directly. Any defects must be manufacturer defects and not scratches, discoloration, or dings due to game or practice play. An original proof of purchase is required for warranty. Once an exchange is authorized by the manufacturer, it will be necessary for the customer to mail, at their expense, the defective ball. Once received, if the ball is deemed to be defective due to manufacturing defect, a replacement will be sent at the manufacturer’s expense and the damaged ball becomes the property of the manufacturer. No. Pearl X and NX balls are not made from rubber like traditional lax balls, and therefore do not contain latex.
Our new Pearl buckets can be difficult to open. You can find a video showing how to open them on our Instagram page. Pull (cut if necessary) the pull tab on the lid until it snaps. Pull the tab around the rim of the bucket until completely removed. Pop the lid open. If it’s difficult, man up, or use pliers!
